Downswing Tip for More Clubhead Speed

Lots of golfers lose the clubhead speed by uncocking their wrists too early on the downswing.

When you watch PGA Tour pros, they delay uncocking of their wrist. When the shaft reaches parallel to the ground just before the impact, their wrists are still cocked.

So to get more distance, you need to delay uncocking of your wrists.

Here is a drill to help you do just that.

On the downswing, pull the grip end of the club toward the ball.

This drill is used by Ernie Els.

I think it's a good way to keep the wrist cock on the downswing.
