How to Check the Ball Position

If you ask tour pros, they will say grip, ball position, stance, alignment, and posture are the most important aspects in golf.

Among those important basics in golf, Jack Nicklaus once said that the ball position is the least talked-about issue.

The ball position determines the ball flight. So you need to pay close attention to it.

But it's easy to go back to your old habit. When I practice, I always try to check my ball position.

When you check your ball position, here is a good way to do it.

1. Lay down the club parallel to your target line
2. Take one more club and set it perpendicular to that club above
3. Place a ball in line with the club that you set perpendicular to the target line to represent ball position
